Serves about 1/2 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • pinch cayenne if desired
  • 1/4 – 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/8 white pepper
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup warm water

Directions

  1. Blend. Place all ingredients in a blender, starting with 1/4 cup water, and puree. If too thick, add more water. Also taste for any additional seasonings needed. Serve or keep in a sealed jar in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Notes

  • If reheating, you may need to add a bit more hot water to thin.
  • Serve on eggs benedict, over asparagus or as a tasty sauce on fish or chicken. Also yummy mixed into carbs like rice or a pasta salad.
