Serves about 1/2 cup
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- Juice of 1 lemon
- pinch cayenne if desired
- 1/4 – 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/8 white pepper
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup warm water
Directions
- Blend. Place all ingredients in a blender, starting with 1/4 cup water, and puree. If too thick, add more water. Also taste for any additional seasonings needed. Serve or keep in a sealed jar in the fridge for 2-3 days.
Notes
- If reheating, you may need to add a bit more hot water to thin.
- Serve on eggs benedict, over asparagus or as a tasty sauce on fish or chicken. Also yummy mixed into carbs like rice or a pasta salad.
