Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked lupini beans
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/2 tsp each: onion powder, smoked paprika, Italian herbs, sea salt
- 3-4 Tbls olive oil
- 1-2 Tbls lemon juice
Directions
- Blend. Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse. It will take a while to smooth as lupini beans are very fibrous and tough.
- Make Yours. Keep pulsing and adding 1 Tbls each of oil, tahini or lemon juice as desired for the right consistency for you.
Notes
- Fun optional add ons to make it more like a tapenade: olives, sun-dried tomatoes.
- Serve as a dip, a spread in wraps or lettuce wraps or even as a dollop on top of tofu or chicken.
