Serves 1/2 cup
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup elderberry syrup OR frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbls. date syrup (optional if product is too tart)
Directions
- Simmer. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat over medium-low, whisking to combine. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until mixture has thickened.
- Cool. Ready to serve as is or use an immersion blender to get any chunks of berries out.
Notes
- Delicious brushed over grilled proteins as well as stirred into yogurt or over oatmeal.
