Serves 1/2 cup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup elderberry syrup OR frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbls. date syrup (optional if product is too tart)

Directions

  1. Simmer. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat over medium-low, whisking to combine. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until mixture has thickened.
  2. Cool. Ready to serve as is or use an immersion blender to get any chunks of berries out.

Notes

  1. Delicious brushed over grilled proteins as well as stirred into yogurt or over oatmeal.
