Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/2 cup favorite nut or seed butter
- 1.5 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup ground flax meal
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- sprinkle sea salt & cinnamon
- 1-2 cups dried fruit
- 1-2 cups mixed nuts, chopped
- Optional (but highly recommended) Honey Ghee Spread: 1/4 cup softened ghee + 2 tsp raw honey
Directions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Mix: Whisk wet ingredients together in a large bowl, then fold in dry ingredients.
- Bake: Pour batter into a greased bread pan and bake for 45 minutes.
- Prepare Spread: While bread bakes, stir together softened ghee and raw honey if using as a spread.
- Enjoy: Let baked bread cool 5-10 minutes, remove from bread pan, slice and serve with Honey Ghee Spread. Add a tiny bit of sea salt to the top for added amazing.
